Our School Values and Collective Worship

At St Michael with St John we teach a range of important Christian values that are promoted in all aspects of school life to enhance the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all our pupils.

Our School Values:

Compassion

Friendship

Responsibility

Cooperation

Hope

Thankfulness

Courage

Love

Tolerance

Creativity

Peace

Trust

Fairness

Perseverance

Truthfulness

Forgiveness

Respect

Wisdom

Each half term we launch our new value in a whole school assembly. Children are invited to talk about the focus of the value and complete a values-based activity with their families at home.  This encourages excellent home/school communication and helps parents/carers to be engaged with the learning that is happening at school.

This has also proved extremely valuable with children talking about what each value means at home and bringing their own opinions, thoughts and reflections into school to share with others. These thoughts and reflections can be found on our website for all to read below.
