Science Lesson 1- How do I plant a bean?In this lesson, we are going to be planting kidney beans. You will need soil, stones, a pot and a kidney bean but if you do not have these resources available, you can watch me plant a bean. We will be looking at what a seed needs to be able to grow into a healthy plant.
Science Lesson 2- What types of plants grow in the wild?In this lesson, we will be learning all about different plants which grow in the wild. We will be describing their appearance and looking at the importance of having wild plants in our environment.
Science Lesson 4- What are the parts of trees and plants called?In this lesson, we will be identifying the different parts of trees and flowers. We will be learning about the functions of the different parts of the trees and flowers and how they help the plant to grow.
Science Lesson 5- What changes occur to a tomato plant?In today's lesson, we will be learning all about how tomato plants grow. We will be looking at the different stages of germination and what happens to the plant before it has grown enough to produce fruit. At the end of the lesson, we will be planting a thick tomato slice into some soil, so we are able to observe the growth. You will need a pot/container, soil, and 1 thick tomato slice. If you do not have these things, you will still be able to watch me plant the seeds.
