Leopards' Class Collective Worship
We presented our class collective worship on Tuesday 29th September. With our value this half term being ‘Compassion’, we decided to talk to others about being compassionate towards those who are less fortunate than us as we believe that when compassion meets action, lives change. As a result, we began raising money for the children who have been affected by the war in Syria by supporting Unicef’s appeal. We hope we can raise enough funds to make a difference to the lives of these children.
Our Children’s University members from Years 4, 5 and 6 went to the Chill Factor yesterday. We went on the climbing wall, had a ski lesson and had loads of fun in the Snow Park! What a fantastic trip!
Thank you to parents for joining us for our Harvest celebrations this week. We would also like to say a huge thank you for the generous food gifts that you sent in. We have sent these to the local Food Bank charity who were absolutely delighted to receive them.
To quote from the Year 4 song … ‘The minute you donate a tin, you make the world a better place.' You have made a difference to the lives of families who are not as fortunate as you. Thank you!
