School Dinners at SMSJ

At St Michael with St John we strive to provide our children who opt to have a school dinner with a healthy and nutritious meal. Our school lunches are provided by LCC (Lancashire County Council). All meals provided by LCC are halal and are made using the best, fresh ingredients. Every day children are able to choose from 3 delicious options. They can add seasonal vegetables and bread, plus as much as they want from the salad bar. A pudding, yoghurt or fresh fruit is also provided every day. Sample menus can be collected from the school office.

School dinners cost £2.10 per child (price increase from 15th April 2024). If you would like more information about our school dinners and menus, please ask at the school office. Your child may be eligible for free school meals. If you would like to find out if you are eligible for free school meals, please ask a member of the office staff for a leaflet that will provide you with further information.
