Prayers
Prayer
Prayer is at the heart of our school life. It provides children and adults with moments of stillness, reflection and connection, helping to nurture a deeper sense of spirituality. Through prayer, our pupils learn to pause, give thanks and consider the needs of others, as well as their own.
Our daily prayers – including our special whole school prayer written by pupils – strengthen our shared values of peace, forgiveness, service, love, friendship, and respect. Children are also encouraged to write and share their own prayers, often linked to special events or to recognise times of difficulty within our community or the wider world. This gives them the opportunity to express their faith in a personal and creative way. These prayers bring our community together, encourage kindness and understanding, and help each child to grow in faith and character.
