World Mental Health Day 10/10/20
On Thursday 10th October, we had a 'green day' in support of World Mental Health Day!
With more and more adults and children struggling to cope with their mental health, we feel it is incredibly important that we raise awareness on this day and show our children it's okay not to be okay!
Children and staff were invited to wear an item of green clothing or accessory along with their usual uniform. Lots of our families made a voluntary donation of 50p to wear something green on the day which was donated to our chosen charity Place2Be.
This charity works hard to ensure all children have access to mental health support early in life so that they have the skills and resilience to go on to become healthier and happier adults.
We also held a competition within school for our children to create and design their own posters to raise awareness of this day and also to show how we can look after our Mental Health!
