Oracy in Geography

At SMSJ, oracy is at the heart of all curriculum areas. We provide regular opportunities for our children to demonstrate their understanding of the geographical content while developing their speaking and listening skills.

Each geography unit has a planned discussion which enables children to demonstrate their knowledge and develop their oracy skills. Please see the overview below with the geography units shown in green:
