This half term in Year 1/2 Turtles we will be learning...

English

Year 2 - We will be looking at the text ‘Rosie Revere, Engineer’ by Andrea Beaty and we will be writing an invention narrative and an explanation text.

Year 1 - We will be looking at the text 'The Last Wolf' by Mini Grey and we will be writing a hunting story and a recipe.

Maths

In maths, we will be learning about:

- Capacity and Volume

- Weight and Mass

- Exploring calculation strategies

- Exploring multiplicative thinking

Science

In science we will be continuing with out learning about plants in both year groups
