Year 4 children participate in Music lessons taught by a specialist Music tutor from Bolton Music Service. They work towards completing an Arts Award. They learn how to play a new musical instrument and they learn about different artists and their work.

When children were asked what they like best about their Music lessons, one child commented,

"I like it when I improvise because I can show what I can do".

Children have learned new musical vocabulary in their lessons, including the Interrelated Dimensions of Music.
