Nursery Rationale

In Nursery pupils work towards the development statements from the Early Learning Goals. Pupils begin to develop confidence and control with gross motor movements through the use of continuous provision. To support this progress pupils are given daily access to the outdoor area as well as taking part in weekly PE lessons. In these physical activity slots, pupils learn to move in different ways. Pupils progress towards being able to run safely on their whole foot, squat steadily, climb confidently and kick a large ball.
